About me

Hi, I'm Nick. I help founders navigate growth & complexity.

I work with founders and small business owners dealing with hard transitions — scaling past founder-led chaos, acquiring or selling, building operational discipline, or simply needing a sharper second set of eyes. My job is to clarify priorities, strengthen how the business operates, and put in place the systems needed to support sustainable growth.

The result is a company that moves forward with greater focus and alignment — and an operator who's no longer figuring it out alone.

HOW WE WORK

How strategy, structure, and disciplined execution turn complexity into measurable progress.

01
Assessment of the business and its priorities.

We begin by understanding your business, your operations, your team, and the decisions in front of you. Through working sessions and review of how things actually run today, we identify where friction exists and where opportunities are being missed. The result is a clear picture of what truly deserves your focus.

02

Definition of a clear strategic direction.

From the assessment, we establish priorities and measurable objectives. Together, we clarify the direction of the business and the initiatives that will make the greatest impact — separating what's urgent from what's important, and what only you can lead from what should be delegated.

03

Structured execution that drives results.

Once the direction is clear, we help you implement the systems, ownership structures, and metrics needed to execute consistently and move the business forward with discipline. Whether you need ongoing fractional support or independent project execution, we stay engaged until the work actually lands.

Who i work with

Supporting founders as they prepare for their next stage.

Founder-Led Companies

Founder-led companies often move fast and rely on the founder's instinct and vision. As the business grows, founders can find themselves pulled in too many directions, with operational complexity outpacing the time available to think strategically. We help build the systems, decision frameworks, and leadership alignment that allow the company to scale without losing the founder's original momentum.

Get in Touch

Build a stronger foundation for growth.

Strategy alone isn't enough. Sustainable growth requires clear priorities, operational discipline, and systems that support execution. Together we create the structure that allows your business to move forward with confidence — and the steady partnership to make sure it actually happens.

BUILT ON REAL OPERATING EXPERIENCE

We don't theorize. We've done it.

One Chaptr Partners is part of One Chaptr Group — a family of operating businesses. We've built brands, acquired companies, managed teams, and navigated the same decisions you're facing. The work we recommend is the work we've already done.

Frequently asked questions

  • What types of businesses do you work with?

We work with founders and small business owners from $100K to $5M in revenue.

Businesses under $500K typically engage through our productized one-time packages — Foundation Audit or 90-Day Diagnostic — where we deliver clear deliverables on a fixed budget without committing to ongoing retainer work.

Businesses from $500K–$2.5M most often work with us through the Diagnostic followed by a Founder or Growth tier retainer.

Businesses from $2.5M–$5M typically engage through our Scale tier retainer or Fractional Operator support, where deeper involvement makes more sense.

If you're outside this range or unsure where you fit, the Discovery Call sorts it out in 30 minutes.

  • What problems do you usually help solve?

The most common patterns: founder pulled in too many directions, business growing faster than its operational systems, leadership team misaligned on priorities, considering acquiring or selling a business, or facing a structural decision (partnership change, exit planning, restructuring) that requires a sharper second opinion.an acquisition or sale

  • Do you work with companies in specific industries?

We focus on small operating businesses — services, light manufacturing, apparel/decorated apparel, e-commerce, and trades. We avoid heavily regulated industries (healthcare, financial services) where deep domain expertise matters more than operational discipline. If we're not the right fit for your industry, we'll tell you.

  • How does your engagement process typically start?

With a free 30-minute discovery call. If there's mutual fit, we propose a 90-day diagnostic — a fixed-fee deep dive that produces a written assessment and an actionable roadmap. From there, ongoing engagement is optional — many clients use the diagnostic alone, others continue into fractional operator or advisory retainers.

  • Do you work alone or with a team?

Engagements are led directly by Nick. For specialized work outside our lane — legal, accounting, marketing, design, HR, technology — we connect clients to a curated network of vetted specialists across 16 categories. You get one trusted point of contact and a whole team behind you.

  • How long do engagements typically last?

Projects range from a 90-day diagnostic to multi-year fractional operator retainers. Most ongoing engagements run 6-12 months. We bill by fixed fee or monthly retainer — not by the hour. The goal is outcomes, not billable time.

  • What if I want help in an area you don't do?

We'll connect you to someone in our network who does. We don't try to be everything; we try to be the right starting point and the trusted referral for the rest.
